I am so excited to have you here, thank you for joining me. At Amanda Kate Design, I appreciate that our homes are far more than mere walls, floors and rooms. They are places of beauty where family memories are made, stories are told, laughter is had, and delicious meals are shared. I believe our homes should always offer solace and sanctuary while also reflecting the things we love and hold dear. In today’s fast paced world, they have become the havens we retreat to in the evenings and rise to in the mornings and when life feels a little overwhelming, they are the places that will soothe and relax and encourage us to live more slowly and with a little more intention.
One of the things that excites me the most at the beginning of this process is understanding you - what your home means to you, how your family wants to live in it, how you see yourselves growing in the spaces and what design choices can complement and elevate your unique way of being.

Amanda Beckmann
From the youngest age I have been immersed in the world of renovating and reinventing homes. Often that meant I grew up in the worst house on a very beautiful street but even as a little girl I marvelled at my parents visionary approach to life as they could always see such incredible potential in homes - what they could become when the right changes were made - what transformations were just within reach when hard work and passion combined. I loved being part of that hustle, that feeling that we were on our way to creating something unique and special and that with time, we too would have an amazing home in an incredible location.
